Beard Transplantation

Beard transplantation is a medical intervention that many people have applied to in recent years. It is a method used by people who do not have a beard or grow out irregularly for various reasons, to have beards of ideal size. After the successes in hair transplantation, it can be said that there has been an increase in beard and mustache transplantation and taboos have been destroyed. It should not be forgotten that it is the appearance of the beard and mustache that greatly affects an aesthetic appearance. Before starting the beard transplantation, the beard transplantation, which may be suitable for the person, is planned. It is decided how much beard or mustache transplantation will be made and at what angles this transplantation will be made. After all, these are decided by the specialist doctor, markings are made on the points of the face to be transplanted. These processes are transferred to the computer. Within this information, the appearance of the person’s face as a result of the transplantation process is created using a computer program and shown to the patient. Thus, the person can clearly see the new shape of the face with the simulation made on the computer. In this way, an undesirable appearance is prevented.

Facial Healing After Beard Transplantation

Immediately after beard transplantation, red blood spots will form on the needle-pressed points. The same is true for mustache transplantation. These stains will be cleared after the first bath. The first improvement is seen at this time. In order to nourish the newly planted hair follicles, the body will enter the adaptation process and increase the blood flow in the face area. Therefore, there will be rash on the face. These small rashes that occur under the skin after beard and mustache transplantation will also heal completely within one to two weeks. In the first step, the transplanted beards will be completely shed with shock shedding. After 4 to 8 years, these beards will grow again and in this way the beard transplantation process will be completed.

Beard Transplantation Techniques

Various techniques are used for beard transplantation. Thus, it is ensured that men have beards as much as they want. These two techniques, known as FUT and FUE, are the most preferred beard transplantation technique. It is also known as FUT beard stem transplantation technique. As a disadvantage, it is known that not every beard stem comes out at the same angle. In the FUE technique, in accordance with the physiological structure of the person, the beard grows everywhere, where it should be, at the required angles. It does not leave any traces.

Beard Transplantation Applications to Burn Trace and Scar Areas

Beard transplantation can also be done for burns and scars. First of all, clinical examinations of the person are made and it is decided how often and with which method the transplantation will be performed. Beard and mustache transplantation is an effective method for closing burns and scars. After careful examinations in the area where these traces are found, applications will be made by making the right decision.

What Happens After Beard Transplantation?

After beard and mustache transplantation, no traces remain on the body. Since the technique that is suitable for the person’s body is decided by the specialist doctor and the procedure is done carefully, very successful results are obtained. As after beard transplantation, rash may occur that will last for a week or two after mustache transplantation. These rashes disappear with the adaptation of the transplanted beard and mustache stems to the body. In addition, shock shedding is experienced after beard transplantation. All beard stems that grow back after this shock shedding will create the most effective appearance. After 4 to 8 months, the beard will be exactly the same as the person’s existing beard.
